Freedom Comes with a Price

Hate, Fear, Pain and Thunder!
Courageous yet humble!
Must defeat the enemy!
Protects and Serves their country,
by leaving behind their family.
Stand proud in the deepest trenches!
No Pain, No Blame!  Never flinches!
Never gives up!  Never surrenders!
And hope someone, someday remembers!
How their freedom came by their aching legs.
The sweat that rolls down their sore back.
The endless, countless hours
they march through the rain of fires!
The shame of almost losing their faith.
Forcing themselves to stay awake.
The nightmares of taking another's life.
The struggle of fighting to stay alive!
The sorrow of losing their friends by their side!
Knowing their country's faith lies in their fight.
Yet the whole nation repeats one lie!
No one understands the true reason why!
Enlighten those people on how it would be!
If someones Son or Daughter did not enlist with dignity!
If the brave soldiers did not sacrifice their lives!
Remind them how freedom comes with a Price!
It's not a free Country,
when someone pays with their life!
